June 13th. My favorite part of the house.

So I fell behind 2 days. I am still here. This is for June 11th. At the mall. We left empty handed.

The Egret Rookery on Alameda's Bay Farm Island. This pine tree was loaded with both Great and Snowy Egret nests.

I tried to capture some of what Luisa thought would make a great photo. Today was a beautiful day. (Location: Alameda Library parking lot)

My treat for today: Rocky Road cookie from CREAM in Berkeley. Only .65 cents. You can't beat that.

This caught my eye today while I was waiting for the bus in Oakland. I hate people that litter!

At Quickly with Luisa getting her .99 cent frozen yogurt. Today's flavor was coconut. Her favorite.

The store opened at 10 not at 9AM. Relying on their website for store hours is not the best way to go. Oh well, Berkeley is beautiful in the morning and I am glad I got to see it.

The plan for today was to be there but bad weather = change of plans.

Very busy and uninspired. My home for the past two years.

The 1st day of the month was a bit stressful and cold. Time is my enemy.

June 1st, 2011

My goal for this month is to post a picture about anything that inspires me each day and write a mini description of what I captured. Primarily, I'd like to capture as much of the bay area, especially Alameda, as possible because I love this place so much. I am hoping this will help me commit and follow through on a project from beginning to end. June is my favorite month of the year and I'd like to have memories to look back on. My birthday is on the 17th and every year I look forward to celebrating me. This year I am turning 25 and I've been anxious about it since turning 24. I am not exactly where I thought I would be by this time in my life (in terms of career, maturity, confidence) but I am tired of feeling sorry for myself and not making any changes in my life.


I've been wanting to start a blog for a very long time now but have been too afraid to start. So here I am. Doing and sharing things that are uncomfortable for me to share. I won't be writing as much but that's ok. It is all about baby steps. Here I go.
